Coconut milk 3 cups Coffee powder 1/4 cup Honey 1/4 cup Gelatin powder 1 teaspoon Water 2 tablespoons

How to make Coconut Coffee Ice Cream

  • Mix the ingredients

    Place a pot on the stove, add all the coconut milk, coffee powder, and honey into the pot, adjust to medium heat, and stir continuously until the mixture gently boils, then turn off the heat. Set aside to allow the coffee powder to dissolve completely.

  • Soak the gelatin

    Add gelatin powder to a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons of cold water, and soak for 10 minutes to fully hydrate the gelatin.

    Note: You must soak the gelatin in cold water to activate its gelling properties!

    Once fully hydrated, add 1 teaspoon of gelatin to the coconut milk and coffee mixture, stirring well to completely dissolve the gelatin into the mixture.

    Pour the mixture into an ice cream mold and place it in the freezer for about 2 hours, then take it out, insert ice cream sticks into the center of each ice cream cube, and return it to the freezer for another 3 – 4 hours before enjoying your Coconut Coffee Ice Cream!

Pure black coffee 150 ml Grated coconut 30 g Whipping cream 50 ml White sugar 15 gr Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon Condensed milk 300 gr (sweetened) Fresh milk 50 ml (unsweetened)

Tools: Refrigerator, whisk, bowl, pan, gas stove, ice cream container,….

Note:

  • You can use either instant black coffee or brewed coffee according to your preference.
  • To ensure hygiene, buy a dry coconut and use a knife to grate the coconut meat!

  • Mixing the mixture

    Put 300g of sweetened condensed milk and 150ml of pure black coffee into 1 large bowl.

    Add 50ml of fresh milk and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, then use a whisk to mix well all the ingredients until they blend together and become smooth.

    Pour the mixed mixture into a deep container and place it in the freezer for about 7 hours to freeze the mixture.

    While waiting for the mixture to freeze into ice cream, stir the grated coconut in the pan, adjust the heat to medium and stir continuously until the grated coconut turns a brownish color.

    After the mixture has frozen for the required time, use a whisk to whip 50ml of whipping cream with 15g of white sugar for 5 minutes.

    Scoop the ice cream into a cup, add whipped cream and toasted grated coconut on top, and enjoy!
