How to make Crispy Fried Tokbokki

  • Boil the tokbokki

    Put water into a pot and wait for it to boil. Add the tokbokki and boil for 5 minutes.

    Transfer the tokbokki to a bowl of cold water so they don’t stick together, then strain them to remove excess water.

  • Mixing the batter

    Add 2 tablespoons of crispy frying flour into the tokbokki bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and shake well to mix the flour evenly.

  • Boil tokbokki

    Put water in the pot and wait for it to boil. Add tokbokki and boil for 5 minutes.

    Transfer the tokbokki to a bowl of cold water to prevent them from sticking together, then place them in a strainer to drain.

    Tip: Wait until the tokbokki is completely drained before frying; otherwise, the oil will splatter.
