  • Avoid selecting onions with peeling skins, those with grooves along the body, and do not choose onions that have sprouted at the tip.
  • For storage, you should place onions in a dark, stable temperature environment, in a wide and ventilated metal basket.

Tips for choosing delicious cucumbers that are not bitter:

  • You should choose cucumbers that are bright green, evenly colored, without dark spots or yellowing, and not bent or slightly curved.
  • Long, firm cucumbers will be crunchier and tastier than shorter, round ones.
  • Avoid buying cucumbers that bulge in the middle or have a large head and small tail (and vice versa) as these are overripe cucumbers, with many seeds and excess water, which do not taste good.
