  • Prepare the ingredients

    First, skewer each sausage with a bamboo stick. Then, wrap a piece of cheese around the outside of the sausage.

    Next, coat the outside of the sausage with a layer of crushed potato chips or shredded coconut.

    You preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Then, grill the sausages for 5 minutes at 180 degrees, and it’s done.

Ground pork 500 gr Flour 2 tablespoons Vinegar 1 teaspoon Fish sauce 1 tablespoon White wine 1 tablespoon MSG 1 teaspoon Pepper 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Collagen sausage casing 6 pieces

Note:

  • You can buy pre-ground pork or buy pork pieces to grind yourself.
  • To buy collagen casings, you can purchase them at ingredient stores, baking shops, or on e-commerce sites.

How to Make Grilled Sausages with Air Fryer

  • Prepare Ingredients and Marinate Pork

    Put 500g of ground pork, 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of white wine, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of MSG, ½ teaspoon of pepper, ½ teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of vinegar into a bowl.

    Then mix well to let the meat absorb the seasonings.

  • Shaping the Sausages

    First, cut a piece of collagen casing corresponding to the size of the sausage you want to make. Then tie a knot at one end, leaving the other end open for stuffing the meat.

    Place the seasoned meat into the stuffing tool. Next, slowly push the meat filling in until it is tightly packed in the collagen casing, then tie a knot again.

    Note:

    • Initially, when stuffing the meat, air will get trapped in the end of the collagen casing and it will become tight. Therefore, you need to use a sharp toothpick to poke a hole so that the air can escape before continuing to stuff the meat.
    • You can stuff the sausage to your desired length, then divide it into smaller pieces by twisting the collagen casing.

  • Grilling the Sausages

    Use a toothpick to poke several holes in the surface of the sausages to let the air escape. This method helps prevent the sausages from bursting while frying.

    Arrange the sausages in the air fryer and grill at a temperature of 160 degrees Celsius for 20 – 25 minutes.

    After 20 – 25 minutes, open the fryer and make a few cuts with a knife, then continue grilling for another 10 – 15 minutes to finish.

  • Final product

    The sausages grilled with an air fryer are delicious and healthy. The sausages have a just-right flavor, are soft and slightly chewy thanks to the collagen skin on the outside.
