  • Cook the lemon grass ginger water

    Place a pot on the stove, pour in 2 liters of clean water, turn on medium heat to boil. Next, add the lemon grass, ginger, 300g of rock sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the pot and boil for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.

    Let the lemon grass and ginger water cool for about 30 minutes, then remove the pot, take out the lemon grass and ginger, and strain the lemon grass ginger water through a sieve to remove all the residue.

    After the lemon grass ginger water has completely cooled, add the lemon juice (adjust according to your taste), stir well, add ice (if desired), and enjoy immediately or refrigerate in the refrigerator for later use.

    How to make Lemongrass Chia Seed Lemonade

    • Cook lemongrass syrup

      Remove the green leaves from the lemongrass, wash it clean, and cut it into pieces about 2 fingers long.

      Place a pot on the stove, add 600g of white sugar, the cut lemongrass, and 750ml of water, bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes before turning off the heat, stirring continuously to dissolve the sugar.

      Let the syrup cool down to use immediately or you can store it in the refrigerator for later use.

    • Mix chia seed lemonade

      Squeeze the lemons to extract the juice. Use about 180ml of lemon juice for one serving.

      Soak the chia seeds in warm water to expand, then drain and set aside.

      Add 180ml of lemon juice, 200ml of lemongrass syrup (adjust according to taste), 250ml of filtered water, and 5 teaspoons of soaked chia seeds into a jar, stir well, then add ice or place in the refrigerator to chill before serving.

      You pour the lemongrass chia seed lemonade into a glass, decorate it with a few slices of lemon, and invite everyone to enjoy it.
