How to make Bread Caramel Pudding

Make caramel
Place a pot on the stove, add 100gr of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water and heat. Stir continuously until the sugar melts and turns a brown color, then pour it into a baking tray to set.

Blend the sandwich
The sandwich part you cut off the edges (depending on preference), tear into small pieces and put into the blender. Blend the bread until it becomes crumbly.

Cook the milk
Place a pot on the stove, mix 360ml of fresh milk and 60ml of condensed milk and bring to a boil. When the milk mixture starts to bubble, turn off the heat.

Mix the pudding mixture
Beat 2 eggs and then add to the milk mixture. Add the bread crumbs along with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir well.
Tip: To prevent the eggs from clumping, you should wait for the milk mixture to cool slightly before adding the beaten eggs, as adding eggs to hot milk will cook the eggs and cause the mixture to become grainy.Pour the pudding mixture over the caramel layer in the tray.

Steam the pudding cake
Place the cake tray in the steamer, cover with aluminum foil, and steam the cake for about 30 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Tip: Covering with aluminum foil will help prevent the pudding from becoming pockmarked due to steam droplets falling from the lid while steaming. -
Completion
After steaming and cooling, place the cake tray in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to let the cake set.
After the chilling time, use a knife to cut along the edges of the tray to remove the cake onto a plate.
