  • You should choose fresh, unopened mushrooms, as these tend to be sweeter and tastier than those that have opened.
  • Prioritize selecting mushrooms that are black or gray, rather than those that are light white.
  • Delicious mushrooms usually have a cylindrical shape, are firm to the touch, and feel heavy.

How to prepare Stir-fried Straw Mushrooms with Beef

  • Preprocessing the straw mushrooms

    Cut off the stems and any bruised black parts of the straw mushrooms, soak them in diluted salt water for 5 – 10 minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly with cold water and drain.
