Unsweetened fresh milk 100 ml Chicken egg 1 piece Egg yolk 1 piece Sugar 15 grams Cornstarch 10 grams Laughing Cow cheese 1 piece Sweetened yogurt 100 grams Unsalted butter 5 grams Condensed milk 20 ml Sandwich bread 10 pieces

How to Make Fried Yogurt Cake

  • Whip the egg yolk

    Put 1 egg yolk and 15g of sugar into a bowl and beat until the mixture turns light yellow.

    Sift 10g of cornstarch and 20ml of condensed milk into the egg mixture and stir well until combined.

    Slowly add 100ml of warm milk into the bowl and stir well.

    Note: Do not let the milk get too hot, as it will cook the eggs and cause curdling.

    Next, add 100g of sweetened yogurt and stir well.

  • Cooking the filling mixture

    Cook the mixture on low heat while continuously stirring until the mixture thickens, then turn off the heat.

    When the mixture is still warm, add in a piece of cheese, 5g of unsalted butter, 1ml of vanilla, and mix well.

    Transfer the mixture to a bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Let it cool, then place the filling into a piping bag.

  • Prepare the cake crust

    Cut off the 4 edges of the sandwich bread and use a rolling pin to flatten the slice of bread.

    Next, fold the slice of bread in half and use scissors to cut the edges. Use a knife or fork to press down on the edges of the bread, leaving one end open for stuffing the filling.

    Slowly pump the filling into the bread, then continue to use a knife or fork to press down to seal the edges tightly.
