Wheat flour 40 gr Coconut milk 200 ml Condensed milk 20 ml Vanilla 5 ml Granulated sugar 30 gr Egg yolks 2 pcs Unsalted butter 5 gr

How to Make Cade Filling

  • Heat the coconut mixture

    Add coconut milk, sugar, and condensed milk to a small pot, heat over medium heat. At the same time, use a spoon to stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves completely, without boiling, then turn off the heat.

  • Make the milk mixture

    First, separate the egg yolks from 2 chicken eggs and put them into a large bowl.

    Then, add the coconut milk mixture (made in step 1) to the bowl with the egg yolks, and whisk the yolks until smooth.

    Next, add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla, stir well, then sift the flour into the bowl and continue to mix the ingredients until well combined.

    Finally, strain the mixture through a sieve and pour it into a pot.

  • Cook the egg milk Cadé filling

    Place the pot containing the egg milk Cadé mixture on the stove over low heat.

    Use a spoon to stir continuously until the mixture thickens (into Cadé filling) and turn off the heat.

    Add an additional 5g of fine sugar. That’s it!

  • Final Product

    The cadé after completion has a very attractive fragrance from eggs and milk, with a fatty, sweet taste and a beautiful yellow color. The mixture is smooth and not too thick.

    You can use cadé as a filling for buns, bread, or serve it with whatever you want.

How to Store Cadé for a Long Time

  • Let the cadé cool completely before placing it in a glass jar, sealing it tightly and storing it in the refrigerator for 5 – 7 days.
  • Make it in moderate amounts, and you will enjoy the delicious fatty taste that is better for your health than keeping cadé for a long time in the refrigerator.
