How to make Almond Slice Cookies

Mix the butter and egg whites
Melt 50 gr of unsalted butter.
Add 2 egg whites and 120 gr of powdered sugar into a bowl, use a whisk to mix until the sugar dissolves, then add 50 gr of melted unsalted butter and mix together.

Mix the flour
Sift 30 gr of all-purpose flour into the butter and egg white mixture, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 5 gr of almond powder, and mix until the batter thickens, then add 250 gr of sliced almonds and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
Then pour the batter into a tray lined with parchment paper, spread the batter evenly in the tray and bake in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes.

Once the cookies are baked, take them out and use a knife to cut them into bite-sized pieces. Then arrange the cookies on a rack and place them in the oven to dry at 110 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
