Noodles 100 gr (2 bundles) Shrimp 100 gr Squid 200 gr Bell pepper 1 piece Bok choy 100 gr Cooking oil 2 tablespoons Common seasoning a little (Sugar/ seasoning powder/ ground pepper)

How to prepare Seafood Fried Noodles

  • Prepare the ingredients

    100g of shrimp should be washed clean with water and drained. Then peel off all the shells, remove the shrimp heads, and use the tip of a knife to cut along the back of the shrimp to remove the black vein. Rinse again with water, drain, and place the shrimp on a plate.

    For 200g of fresh squid, use your hands to pull out the squid head, discard the ink sac, and wash the squid thoroughly inside and out. Then, slice the squid into thin round rings about the width of a finger.

    For the bell pepper, remove the stem, cut the fruit lengthwise to remove the seeds, then wash and slice into thin long strips.

    For 100g of bok choy, separate each leaf and wash them clean with water.

    Next, peel the garlic and mince it finely.

    Soak 2 servings of noodles in a bowl of cold water for about 10 minutes, then remove and drain in a colander.

  • Marinate shrimp with squid

    You put the cleaned shrimp and squid into a bowl and add the spices including 1 spoon of seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper. Mix well and marinate the shrimp and squid for about 15 minutes to absorb the spices.

  • Blanch the noodles

    You place a pot on the stove and pour water into half of the pot. Boil the water and then add 2 portions of noodles, blanching for about 30 seconds before turning off the heat. Next, you remove the noodles to a colander and rinse briefly with cold water to make the noodles chewier and let them drain.

  • Stir-fried noodles with seafood

    You place a pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Next, add the marinated shrimp and squid, stir-frying on high heat until nearly cooked, then transfer to a plate.

    Next, continue to add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the pan that is still on the stove. When the oil is hot, add the prepared bell pepper and stir-fry. Then, add a little water, 1 tablespoon of seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and stir-fry on medium heat for 5 minutes.

    When the bell pepper is just tender, add the bok choy to the pan, stirring well. Wait for the bok choy to soften slightly, then add the noodles and stir-fry to absorb the seasoning evenly.

    Finally, add the stir-fried shrimp and squid back into the pan and continue to stir-fry on high heat for about 1 minute, then season to taste according to your family’s preferences. After that, turn off the stove and it’s done.
