How to make Custard Apple Tea
-
Prepare the ingredients
The custard apple you bought should be cut in half, peeled, and the inner stem removed. Next, separate the custard apple flesh and place it into a bowl (you can keep the seeds or remove them according to your preference).
-
Soak the custard apple
Add 2 passion fruits to the prepared custard apple to enhance the flavor.
Next, add between 400 – 600 grams of sugar depending on your taste, mix well, cover, and let it sit for 2 – 3 hours for the sugar to dissolve and soak into the custard apple, then put it in the refrigerator for later use.
-
Steep the tea
To brew 1 cup of soursop tea, you can use 1 tea bag or 2.5 grams of fresh tea steeped in warm water for 5 minutes.
-
Mix soursop tea
After steeping the tea, add about 1 – 2 tablespoons of sugar (depending on your desired sweetness) into the cup and stir well until the sugar dissolves.
Next, pour the tea into a jar or bottle with a tight lid, add 1 – 2 tablespoons of the prepared soaked soursop, add some ice cubes, then close the lid and shake well so that the tea and soursop blend together for a delicious result.
