Ingredients for grapefruit coconut Panna Cotta Serves 4

Coconut milk 400 ml Sugar 3 tablespoons Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon Water 2 tablespoons Gelatin powder 1/2 teaspoon Grapefruit juice 1/2 cup Gelatin powder 3/4 teaspoon Sugar 1 tablespoon Segmented grapefruit 1 fruit Mint leaves 10 grams (for decoration)

How to make grapefruit coconut Panna Cotta

  • Melting the gelatin

    Take 2 tablespoons of water into a small bowl, add 1 and a half teaspoons of gelatin powder into the water, and wait for it to dissolve for 5 minutes. Next, pour the coconut milk, sugar, and vanilla extract into a pot, place it on the gas stove on low heat until it lightly boils. Remove the pot from the heat, add the gelatin water, and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

  • Making Panna Cotta

    You divide the mixture evenly into about 4 equal parts, pouring it into glass cups. Place the Panna Cotta in the refrigerator for 3 hours. We will continue with the grapefruit sauce

    Similar to above, you scoop 2 tablespoons of grapefruit juice into a bowl and sprinkle gelatin powder over it, waiting for it to dissolve for 5 minutes. Pour the remaining grapefruit juice into a pan, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, and cook until boiling. Add the gelatin grapefruit juice mixture to the pan, stirring until the gelatin completely dissolves, then turn off the heat.

  • Final Product

    You take the Panna Cotta out of the refrigerator, adding 2 or 3 grapefruit segments to each cup. Then, you drizzle the grapefruit sauce over the cups, being careful not to submerge the grapefruit segments. Place it back in the refrigerator for another hour until the grapefruit sauce sets and it can be served immediately. Add mint leaves on top for decoration if desired.
