Prepare the ingredients
– First, wash the strawberries thoroughly with water, remove the stems, and cut the strawberries in half.
– Then soak them in diluted salt water for 15 – 20 minutes and rinse again with water. Take the strawberries out and let them drain.
– Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.

Soak strawberries with sugar
Next, mix the strawberries with 750 grams of sugar; the amount of sugar can be adjusted to your preference and leave in a dry place for about 4 hours for the strawberries to absorb the sugar.

Cook the strawberry jam
Add the sugar-soaked strawberries to a pan, cook over medium heat until boiling, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
– Gently stir the strawberries to prevent them from breaking. Continue cooking until the liquid is nearly evaporated, then add a little lemon juice.
– When you see the mixture thickening, turn off the heat and add vanilla, stirring gently.

How to Make Dried Strawberry Jam

Prepare Strawberries
Wash strawberries thoroughly with water, remove the stems. Then, soak the strawberries in a diluted saltwater solution for about 20 – 30 minutes.

Cook the Jam
– After soaking, wash the strawberries again with water, then take them out and drain.
– Next, add the strawberries and 600 g of sugar into the pan, cook on low heat until the strawberries are soft and the syrup turns pink.
– Continue to cook for another 30 minutes, then remove the strawberries, but keep the syrup cooking until it thickens.
– After that, add the strawberries back into the pan, stir evenly. When the syrup turns dark brown, turn off the heat.

Dried Strawberries
Put strawberries in the oven at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius and dry for about 2 hours, until the strawberries are completely dry, then take them out. Once the jam is completely cool, you can put it in a jar for storage.
Note:
– To make delicious strawberry jam, you should choose ripe, plump strawberries that are not bruised or crushed, and it’s best if they still have the green stem intact.
