How to make Finger Cookies

Mix the dough
Beat the butter with powdered sugar until well combined, then add 1 chicken egg and a little liquid vanilla and mix well.
Sift 150 g of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder into the butter and egg mixture, then mix well, afterwards knead lightly by hand, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Shaping and Baking
After taking the dough out of the refrigerator, take a small amount and roll it into a finger shape. Then use your hand to press a dent into the dough to create finger joints, and add an almond for the fingernail.
Bake the cookies at 160 degrees Celsius for 15 – 20 minutes. Once baked, spread a layer of strawberry jam on top for serving and decoration.

Once the cookies are baked, you can store them in a food container and use them for about 2 weeks.
