Cook the red beans

After soaking, put the beans into the rice cooker along with 1 liter of water. Then, cook the beans for 1 – 2 hours until they are soft.

Strain the bean water
Place the beans in a sieve over a large bowl, and use a spoon to press the beans down firmly and evenly so that all the bean water drains into the bowl.
After filtering with the sieve, pour the bean water into a cloth bag and squeeze once more to completely separate the bean water from the bean residue.

Cooking the jelly and chilling
Turn on the stove, add the soybean residue to the pot and cook with 200g of sugar, 5g of agar powder, and all the soybean water. Use a whisk to mix the mixture over medium heat.
Once the mixture is uniform, pour it into a mold and use a spoon to smooth it out evenly. Place the jelly in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.
