How to prepare Stir-fried Garlic Mushrooms

Prepare the ingredients
The mushrooms you buy should be soaked in salt water for about 5 minutes. Then use a knife to cut off the dirt and the brown outer layer of the mushroom cap.
Tip: If you like, you can keep the brown outer layer of the mushroom cap!Green onions and cilantro should have the roots cut off, be washed clean, drained, and then cut into bite-sized pieces about 1 finger length. Garlic should be peeled and minced.

Stir-fried mushroom
Heat a pan on stove over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then add garlic and fry until fragrant and crispy, then set aside half of the fried garlic in a bowl.
Next, add the mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, stir well for about 3 minutes.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, sprinkle with pepper, green onions, and cilantro, then turn off the heat. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate, sprinkle additional fried garlic on top and enjoy right away.
Note: Since mushrooms release a lot of water when stir-fried, you don’t need to add extra water while cooking the mushrooms. -
