Prepare the ingredients
Okra bought should be cut off the ends and soaked in a diluted saltwater solution, then rinsed thoroughly with water.
The pork belly slices should be soaked in saltwater for about 10 minutes, using your hands to rub the meat to remove any blood and impurities, which helps to reduce the odor.
Rinse with clean water and let it drain. Sprinkle 1 gram of salt and pepper evenly on both sides of the meat, marinate for 10 minutes.
Tip: If you can’t find sliced pork belly, you can buy a whole piece of meat, prepare it, and then cut it into thin, wide slices vertically. The number of meat slices should correspond to the number of okra pieces you plan to roll.

Roll the pork
Lay the thin slice of meat on the cutting board, place the okra inside. Roll the meat tightly. Continue rolling until all the ingredients you have are used up.

Dipping the batter and pan-frying the pork
After wrapping the meat, evenly coat 30 grams of potato starch on the surface of the meat.
Place a pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Add the rolled meat and fry on medium heat to prevent burning.
Note: keep the folded edge of the meat facing down to prevent the wrap from coming undone.
Pan-fry the meat until it turns a beautiful golden color, then remove it to a plate to drain the oil.
