Prepare the sweet potato

Mixing and kneading the dough
Put the mashed sweet potato on a plate along with rice flour, tapioca flour, and 200 ml of boiling water, use a spoon to mix well, then use your hands to knead the dough until it is very soft and smooth, forming a cohesive mass, then stop, cover the plate of dough with plastic wrap for 10 minutes.

Rolling the dough
Divide the kneaded dough into 3 equal parts, use a rolling pin to roll it out until the dough is 2 mm thick, then use a knife to cut the dough into strands.

Boiling the cake strands
Put the cut cake strands into a pot of boiling water and boil for about 2 minutes, until the strands float, then remove them and place them in a bowl of cold water to prevent them from sticking together.
When the water is boiling, you can add a little cooking oil before dropping the cake strands in to boil. This helps prevent the strands from sticking together while boiling. -
Cooking the broth
Add 200 ml of water to a pot along with the pork ribs, white radish, carrot, and salt. Cover the pot, turn the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, then season with seasoning powder and rock sugar and stir well.
