How to choose fresh and delicious zucchini

  • You should prioritize choosing straight zucchinis with intact stems, fresh green color, and when held in hand, they feel firm and not soft or mushy.
  • Additionally, you should choose zucchinis of moderate length and a moderately bright green color as these are usually the standard ones, not too young and not too old, and they will be very delicious when cooked.
  • Avoid selecting zucchinis that show signs of scratches, insect bites, or that are wilted and no longer fresh.

  • Prepare the ingredients

    For the zucchini, you can peel it or leave the skin on according to your preference. Use a knife to cut off both ends and slice it into pieces about 1/3 of a finger’s thickness, then cut into strips.

    Peel the onion, rinse it clean, and slice it thinly. Remove the stem from the chili, rinse it clean, and then finely chop it.

  • Mix the ingredients with batter

    Add the zucchini to a bowl, add the onion and chili, then add the batter to the zucchini, add 10ml of water, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.

    Place a pan on the stove over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then add 1 ladle of zucchini to fry for about 3 – 4 minutes until both sides are golden, then remove and let drain the oil, continue frying until done.
