How to prepare Nicoise salad

You wash the ingredients and prepare them as follows:
- Eggs: boil until cooked, peel and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Potatoes: boil until cooked, peel and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Cherry tomatoes, olives: cut in half.
- Lettuce: carefully pick, drain, and cut into small pieces.
- Green beans: trim carefully, cut diagonally, then boil briefly with a little salt, and let drain.
- Onion: peel, slice, and soak in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes to drain to reduce the pungency.
