Prepare the ingredients
Soak snow fungus, job’s tears, peach resin, and cordyceps in water for 12 hours before cooking.
Tip: Since snow fungus expands significantly when soaked, you should use a large bowl to soak the snow fungus!Lotus seeds and snow fungus should only be soaked in water for about 2 hours, then removed, washed thoroughly, and drained! Soaking for too long will make them too soft, leading to them breaking apart when cooked, which is not tasty.
For goji berries, red dates, longan, and pandan leaves, you just need to wash them thoroughly 2 – 3 times with water and let them drain.
Finally, you boil a pot of water, wait until the water is gently boiling, then add the soaked lotus seeds and simmer on medium heat for about 1 hour until the lotus seeds are soft.
