How to Make Fried Coconut Sticky Rice Cake

  • Mix the glutinous rice flour mixture

    First, put 200gr of glutinous rice flour and 40gr of all-purpose flour into a bowl and mix well.

    Next, place a pot on the stove, add 45gr of sugar, 170ml of coconut milk, and stir well over medium heat until the mixture boils.

    Then, add the coconut milk mixture into the bowl of flour and mix well until the ingredients stick together.

  • Knead and shape the glutinous rice cakes

    Next, use your hands to knead the dough for about 15 minutes until it forms a soft, smooth, and non-sticky mass.

    Then, roll the dough into a long shape and divide it into 10 equal parts.

    Next, roll each piece into a ball and then flatten it with your hands to a thickness of about 1/2 of your little finger.

    Tip: While shaping, remember to cover the other pieces of dough to prevent them from drying out!

    Heat 1 pan of oil until boiling, then add the cakes and fry over medium-low heat for about 7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

How to store the cake
