Method 1: Traditional style

First, place the filling in the center of the dough, then fold the dough in half and pinch tightly in the middle to seal it.

Next, use your fingers to push the edges of the dough on both sides into the filling to form a horizontal line.

Use your hands to pinch one side tightly, then press down the other side to flatten the dough. Do the same with the other side.

Method 2: Triangle style

First, place the filling in the dough, then use 3 fingers to hold around the dough (1 hand with 2 fingers, 1 hand with 1 finger).

Next, use the 3 fingers to push the dough into the filling.

Finally, pinch the edges tightly together.

Method 3: Lotus style

First, place the filling in the center of the dough, then use a knife to cut 4 lines to create 4 equal parts.

Next, fold and pinch the middle part of the edges on both sides.

At this point, there will be 2 excess edges on top and bottom, continue to pinch these 2 edges together to form flower petals.

Do the same with the remaining edges of the dough.

Method 4: Rose style

Stack the edges of 3 pieces of dough on top of each other, then use your hands to press tightly to seal the joints.

Next, place the filling in the center of each piece of dough and then fold the edges of the dough over.

Finally, roll the dough horizontally to complete.

Method 5: Braided Style

First, place the filling in the center of the dough, then use your hands to pinch the edges tightly to define the focal point for the “braid”.

Next, alternate folding the two sides together until the dough is fully wrapped.

Use the underside of a fork to create a pattern on half of the dough piece.

Then, use two chopsticks to pinch both sides of the dough together.

Next, use your hands to flip the unembossed side to the top. Then, fold the patterned side down.

Finally, place the filling inside the “pearl” and use your hands to pinch the edges tightly.

Place the filling in the center of the dough, fold and pinch the two edges together tightly.

Then, use your thumb to fold and gently press the edge inward.

Continue doing this until you reach the end of the dough edge.

Method 8: Shell Style

Place the filling in the center of the dough, fold and pinch the two edges together. Next, use your hands to create a wave shape for the edge of the dough.

After shaping, place two fingers into the dough so that the edge is in the middle.

Finally, squeeze these two fingers tightly together to create horizontal lines for the shell.

Method 9: Rosebud style

First, put the filling into the dough shell and then pinch the two edges of the shell tightly together. Next, place a chopstick in the middle of the bottom of the dough and press firmly.

Put the filling in the center of the dough shell, then use your hands to pinch the shell together so that it forms 5 equal petals.
