  • Adding branches and decorating the Christmas tree

To create the leaves of the Christmas tree, stick several toothpicks into the carrot trunk and then sequentially pin each piece of broccoli onto them.

You can also add a few cherry tomatoes and strawberries interspersed with the broccoli to make the tree more visually appealing!

Then, use a knife to carve a slice of carrot into a star shape, pin it onto a toothpick, and stick it on top of the Christmas tree.

Finally, add a few segments of tangerine in the empty spaces between the pieces of broccoli for decoration!

  • Make a wreath

First, place a bowl in the center of the plate, then use a spoon to place rice around it to form a circle.

Next, stick the green cauliflower flowers on top of the rice, and you can also add a few cauliflower leaves to make the wreath look more natural.

To make the wreath more attractive, in the gaps between the cauliflower flowers, you can decorate with a few segments of tangerine, diced bell pepper, and corn kernels.

Additionally, you can carve a few slices of carrot into star or flower shapes to further decorate the wreath. Finally, place 2 strawberries on top as decorative ornaments.

How to Prepare a Christmas Tree Shape from Cucumber and Carrot

  • Prepare the Ingredients

After purchasing, wash the cucumber thoroughly with water, and you can soak it in diluted salt water for about 5 minutes to remove chemicals.

Next, cut off both ends of the cucumber, rinse it to remove sap, then use a peeler to gently slice the cucumber into very thin slices like paper, so that light can pass through when held up.

For the carrot, wash it clean and peel it, then cut the carrot into round slices. After that, use a knife to carve each edge of the carrot to form a star shape.

Cut a few thicker carrot slices about the length of one finger, then cut them in half to create a crescent shape for the base of the Christmas tree.

You take each slice of cucumber that has been thinly sliced, place it on a flat surface like cutting board or plate, then carefully fold the cucumber to shape the trunk of the tree.

Then, using a toothpick, pierce through the folded cucumber piece and pin the toothpick into a crescent-shaped carrot piece. Add a carrot star on top for decoration, and you’re done.

Note: To create a triangular tree, you should gradually fold the inner layers shorter than the outer layers!
