Prepare and boil the fish
Buy the snakehead fish, scrape off the scales, remove the gills, and take out the intestines. Then use salt to rub all over the fish to reduce the sliminess, and rinse it with clean water.
Place a pot on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, then add 1 sliced purple onion and 1 sliced garlic clove and sauté until fragrant.
