How to Cook Garlic Fish Sauce Braised Ribs

  • Prepare and Marinate the Ribs

    After purchasing the pork ribs, chop them into bite-sized pieces, then wash them clean and let them drain.

    Put the ingredients into a bowl, including the ribs, 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, and 2 teaspoons of minced shallot. Let the ribs marinate for 1 hour.

    Tip: If you have time, you can marinate overnight in the refrigerator refrigerator to enhance the flavor of the dish.

  • Prepare the ribs

    Buy ribs and cut them into bite-sized pieces, then rub with salt and rinse them clean.

    Prepare a pot of water and add 3 shallots and 1/2 small ginger cut into pieces. Wait for the water to boil, then add the ribs to blanch until the water boils again, then turn off the heat, take the ribs out, rinse them clean again, and let them dry.

    Put 50gr of crispy frying flour into a bowl, then coat a thin layer of flour onto the ribs.

    Heat a pan on the stove and add enough oil to cover about half a finger’s length. When the oil is hot, add the ribs and fry until golden on all sides over medium heat, then take them out and place them on paper towels to absorb the oil.
