How to prepare Five-spice Braised Beef Intestines

Prepare beef intestines
After purchasing the beef intestines, cut off the excess fat, then place the intestines in a basin of water with 2 tablespoons of salt, 100ml of vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of baking soda, kneading thoroughly to clean the intestines and remove any odor. Rinse several times with water to ensure the intestines are clean.
Tip: To ensure the intestines are clean and odor-free, you can use a knife to scrape the surface of the intestines during the washing process.
