Preparing fresh peaches

Next, dilute 1.5 liters of water with 1 tablespoon of salt. Then, cut each peach into wedges and soak them in the saltwater.
After that, peel the peaches and continue soaking the flesh in saltwater to prevent browning. Finally, rinse the peaches with clean water and let them drain.

Place a pot on the stove, add 400g of sugar and 200ml of water, and heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and turns a brown color.
Tip: Do not boil the sugar mixture for too long as it will cause the syrup to burn and become bitter.Next, add 800ml of water and bring the syrup mixture back to a boil. When boiling, add the peach flesh and cook until the fruit turns translucent.
Then, remove the peaches and soak them in a bowl of ice water for about 15 minutes to cool.
