  • Soak the chrysanthemum

    Soak the chrysanthemum flowers in a basin of water for about 5 minutes, then rinse with clean water and remove to drain.

    Tip: Dried chrysanthemum flowers will be light and float on the surface of the water, so use your hand to press the flowers down.

  • Cook the tea

    Place a pot on the stove over medium heat, add 4 liters of water and the chrysanthemum, bring to a boil, then simmer for an additional 3 minutes.

    Next, remove the chrysanthemum remains and add rock sugar, stirring until dissolved, then turn off the heat.

    Tip: If you prefer to drink it cold with ice, reduce the water to 3 liters for a stronger tea flavor.

Dried chrysanthemum 45 gr Rock sugar 500 gr Pandan leaves 15 leaves Rehmannia 3 gr Luo Han Guo 1 fruit Chia seeds 20 gr

How to prepare Ginseng Chrysanthemum with Luo Han Guo

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Wash the pandan leaves and tie them into a bundle. Soak the chrysanthemum flowers in water for about 10 minutes to let them bloom, then squeeze out the excess water.

    Break the Luo Han Guo into smaller pieces so that it releases its essence quickly when cooked.

  • Cook the syrup

    Place a pot on the stove over medium heat, add 1 liter of water and put in the rock sugar, wait for it to boil, gently stir to dissolve the sugar, then turn off the heat.

    Tip: Cook the rock sugar first so that the final product does not contain impurities (sand, dust, or residue) from the rock sugar.

    Place a pot on the stove over medium heat, add 5 liters of water, and put in the chrysanthemum flowers, Luo Han Guo, and licorice root to boil. When the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Next, add the pandan leaves and cook together for another 20 minutes before turning off the heat.

    Strain out the chrysanthemum flowers, Luo Han Guo, and licorice root, then filter the syrup into the mixture, and add chia seeds to soak in the ginseng water.

    Once the chia seeds have expanded, bottle them and store them in the refrigerator to enjoy.
