  • Prepare the chicken breast

    To eliminate the fishy smell of the chicken breast, use a knife to remove the skin, rinse with water, then rub with salt and crushed ginger evenly over the chicken piece and rinse again with clean water. After that, let it drain or use a clean towel to dry it.

    Once the chicken breast is dry, cut it into bite-sized pieces about the size of a large finger.

    Soak the 3 types of mushrooms in diluted salt for 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water 2 – 3 times and let them drain. For the chicken thigh mushrooms, slice the mushrooms thinly.

How to Make Steamed Chicken Breast with Lime Leaves

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    You wash the lemongrass, crush it, mince the white part, and cut the top part into pieces for steaming!

    Wash the lime leaves and finely chop them. Peel the ginger, crush it, and mince it. Peel the onion and cut it in half; dice one half and steam the other half with the chicken breast. Remove the stem from the chili and cut it into pieces.

  • Prepare the chicken breast

    To eliminate the fishy smell from the chicken breast, rinse it briefly in water and soak it in diluted salt for about 15 minutes. After that, rinse the chicken breast with clean water 2 – 3 times and let it drain.

    To ensure the chicken breast is evenly marinated and tender, cut the chicken breast into butterfly shapes and rub both sides with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Next, place the chicken breast in a zip bag or a sealed container and marinate it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    Once marinated, use a clean towel to pat the chicken dry, and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of pepper evenly on both sides.

    You add finely chopped shallots, sliced ginger, and sliced garlic onto parchment paper, and finally place the tightly rolled chicken breast on top, then wrap it up.
