  • Prepare the mock meat

    Wash the mock meat with water, drain, and then use a knife to cut the mock meat into small pieces, about the size of a finger.

    Put 50g of crispy frying flour, 1 teaspoon of seasoning, 1 spoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of sesame into a bowl.

    Put the cut gluten into the batter bowl, ensuring the gluten is coated evenly with a layer of crispy frying flour.

    Next, pour 200ml of cooking oil into a pan, place the pan on the stove, and turn on medium heat to heat the oil.

    Then, reduce the heat and carefully place each piece of gluten into the pan, frying for about 2 minutes until the gluten is golden and crispy. Remove the gluten and place it on a strainer to drain the oil, and you’re done.

    You place the tofu on a plate and enjoy it with chili sauce to make the dish even better. This dish can be served with rice or enjoyed as a snack, both are delicious!

How to Make Fried Vegan Noodles with Lemongrass and Chili

  • Boil and Lightly Fry the Vegan Noodles

    Put 800ml of water into a pot along with 300gr of vegan noodles, place the pot on the stove, turn on medium heat, and bring the water to a boil. Use chopsticks to stir the vegan noodles in the boiling water for about 2 – 3 minutes.

    Then remove the vegan noodles and rinse them with clean water before draining.

    Next, pour 200ml of cooking oil into a pan, heat the oil, then drop each piece of vegan noodle into the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides. Turn off the heat and remove the vegan noodles onto a plate to drain excess oil.

    Wash the lemongrass, then slice it thinly. Chop the chili finely and mince it.

    Then add 10ml of cooking oil (about 1 tablespoon) to the pan, turn on the heat to warm the oil and then add the lemongrass and chili, stir-frying for 2 minutes until fragrant.

    Season with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of chili sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.

    Stir well for 5 minutes to coat the vegetarian meat evenly with the seasonings, adjust the seasoning to taste, then turn off the heat and it’s done.
