How to Choose Fresh, Delicious Lemons

  • You should choose those that are of moderate size, with thin skin and plump. When touching the lemon, it feels smooth, not rough.
  • Juicy lemons will feel heavy in hand, and if you press lightly on the skin, you will see essential oils released, with a pleasant fragrance. If the lemon has a pungent smell, it is likely to have been sprayed with chemicals.
  • Do not choose those that have a dull yellow color, rough skin, or black spots.
