How to make Steamed Pumpkin Cake

Steam the pumpkin
First, you need to peel the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces.
Next, steam the pumpkin until you can gently press it with chopsticks or a fork and it feels soft.

Prepare coconut milk
Pour 120g of coconut milk along with 60ml of water, 50g of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt into a pot. Then, turn on low heat and stir well until the mixture warms up and the sugar dissolves.
Note: Do not let the mixture boil, just warm it up to easily dissolve the sugar and salt.

Mix the cake batter
Prepare a large bowl, use a sieve to sift 140g of glutinous rice flour, 20g of wheat flour, and 5g of tapioca flour into the bowl.
Then, mash the steamed pumpkin and add it to the flour mixture.
Next, pour all the coconut milk mixture into the flour bowl. Then stir the batter until everything is combined into a thick and smooth mixture.
