Preparing the pig tongue
Put a pot of water on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the pot, when the water boils, add the pig tongue and boil for about 2 minutes on high heat, then remove it, rinse with cold water, and use a knife to scrape off the white membrane and wash it clean with water.
After washing, use a paper towel to dry it, then cut the pig tongue into thin, small pieces, suitable for eating.
Tips for cleaning pig tongue, removing fishy smell- Boil a pot of water mixed with a little salt and lemon juice, blanch the pig tongue for 1 – 2 minutes.
