How to choose good oranges:

You should choose oranges with thin skin and fresh to get more juice, more nutrients, and better flavor.

  • Thin-skinned oranges feel firm, heavy, have smooth and taut skin, and are less bumpy; especially, you should observe if the stem area of the orange is sunken compared to the surrounding part, then that orange has more juice.
  • Fresh oranges are usually hard, not soft or wilted, with taut and shiny skin.
