Ingredients for Deep-fried Pork Rolls with Jambon Cheese For 3 people

Jambon 5 slices Pork 120 grams Sesame leaves 4 pieces (or perilla leaves) Mozzarella cheese 4 slices Cheddar cheese 4 slices Chicken eggs 2 eggs Wheat flour 50 grams Breadcrumbs 50 grams Salt 10 grams Ground pepper 10 grams

Tips for choosing good pork:

  • First, you must choose fresh meat. The color of good meat is bright pink, not too red and not too pale. Pork that is pale, turning green, and has a foul smell has spoiled, so you should not choose this type of meat.
  • Pork that is firm and has high elasticity is good meat. You can test it by pressing your finger into the meat; if it springs back immediately, is not slimy, and does not leak water or juices, then it’s good.
  • You should choose pork with a balance of lean meat and fat to ensure your dish is not too dry or overly greasy from too much fat.

  • Layering the filling

    Use a clean cutting board to arrange the ingredients on top. Start layering the filling in the following order: 1 layer of ham, a piece of Mozzarella cheese, followed by a sheet of seaweed, and finally a layer of Cheddar cheese. Continue stacking the ingredients in the same order until finished.

    After all the filling layers have been arranged, use a knife to cut it in half.

    Tip: By interleaving the ingredients, when you eat, you will easily taste all the flavors of the dish in one bite, creating a more enjoyable and delicious experience.

  • Preparing the pork

  • Roll the meat

    Once you have thin slices of meat to your liking. Lay the meat out on a wide cutting board, sprinkle a little salt and a little ground pepper on top of the meat.

  • Dip in flour

    Crack 2 eggs into a tray and beat them well.

    Roll the pieces of meat in flour one by one, then dip them evenly in the beaten eggs. Next, roll the meat in the breadcrumb layer. Remember to do it gently and evenly so that the flour coats well and the meat does not break or crumble!

  • Fry the meat

    Heat oil in a pan, wait for the oil to heat up, then add the cheese rolls and fry them in deep oil over medium heat. When the meat pieces are golden brown, use a slotted spoon to remove them and let them drain. Cut into small bite-sized pieces.
