How to choose fresh and delicious ingredients
How to choose delicious oyster mushrooms:
- You should choose firm, thick-stemmed mushrooms that feel solid in your hand and have a natural fragrant smell.
- Fresh and delicious oyster mushrooms usually have natural colors like white or gray, with neither too dark nor too light shades.
- Additionally, avoid mushrooms that are bruised or broken, or have a foul smell as these are spoiled mushrooms.
How to choose fresh mango:
- To make a delicious salad, you should choose mangoes that are green or just starting to turn yellow.
- Preferably choose mangoes with green stems, a fragrant smell, and feel solid in your hand.
- Avoid overly ripe mangoes, as the salad will not taste good. In particular, avoid mangoes with unusual colors or large spots on the skin.

How to make Oyster Mushroom Salad
-
Prepare the ingredients
Cut off the stems of the oyster mushrooms, rinse them with water to remove any dirt, then soak in diluted salt water for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse several times with clean water, drain, and tear the mushrooms into bite-sized strips.
Wash the mango thoroughly, then peel and cut into strips. Place the mango in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to maintain its crunchiness, which will enhance the taste when eaten.
Pick the leaves of the mint and wash them clean, then let them drain.
Peel the ginger and slice it. Wash the chili pepper.
-
Fry the mushrooms
Heat a pan on the stove and pour in 300 ml of cooking oil, then add the oyster mushrooms and fry on low heat until the mushrooms turn golden brown on both sides, then remove them to drain excess oil.
-
Salad dressing
Put 10 grams of cilantro, 3 slices of ginger, and 2 small chilies into a mortar and pound them finely for about 2 – 3 minutes.
