How to choose good quality dried stingray

  • Dried stingray comes in many types; for this grilled dish, you should choose the type that is dark brown.
  • When buying, you should choose fish that have an even color, thick flesh, and are dark brown.
  • When touching the fish, it should feel dry, the dried fish should be flexible, and the flesh should not be too hard. Squeeze it to feel the firmness of the flesh.
  • Dried stingray has a strong and distinctive smell, indicating it is fresh and of good quality.
  • Do not purchase if the dried stingray has an unusual, foul, or sour smell or shows signs of mold.
