Place black barley in a bowl, rinse once with water, then discard the rinsing water.
Next, add 125ml of unsweetened fresh milk to the bowl of black barley and let it soak for 3 hours to soften the barley.

Blend Barley Smoothie
After 3 hours of soaking, the barley should be soft and has absorbed most of the milk. Add the soaked barley to the blender along with 125ml of unsweetened fresh milk.
Turn on the blender at medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, then add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and the remaining 125ml of unsweetened fresh milk to the blender.
Continue blending until the mixture is well combined, then pour into a glass and sprinkle a little chopped almonds and roasted cashews on top to enjoy right away!
