How to make Gò Công turmeric cake

Mixing the dough
Put 200g of glutinous rice flour, 100g of rice flour, 100g of tapioca flour, and 1 teaspoon of salt into a bowl, then mix well until the ingredients are combined.
Next, gradually pour 300ml of boiling water into the flour bowl, mixing well as you pour to make the dough sticky. Then, add another 100ml of water and knead with your hands until the dough forms a smooth, pliable mass.
Finally, evenly coat the dough with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, place it in a bowl, cover tightly, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Tip:- Pour the water gradually to avoid the dough clumping (like cow’s brain) and to make it easier to mix.

Shaping
Prepare several pieces of parchment paper measuring about 7x10cm, put a little dough into a piping bag and start shaping.
