Prepare the Ingredients
To eliminate the odor of the pork belly, rub coarse salt evenly around the meat and then rinse it with water.
Next, add 200ml of water to the pan, place the pan on the stove, and heat over medium heat for about 3 minutes until the water boils.
Then, place the cleaned meat in the pan so that the skin side is directly facing the bottom of the pan, ensuring that the meat is not submerged in water, and boil for about 3 minutes until the skin is slightly cooked.
After 3 minutes, remove the meat and rinse it with cold water.
Next, pour out the water in the pan, then put the pan back on the stove to heat it up. After that, place the skin side of the meat down in the pan, moving it back and forth for about 3 minutes to dry the skin.

Crispy Roasted Pork Belly
To make crispy roasted pork belly, you spread aluminum foil out on a flat surface and then place the dried pork belly on it with the skin side facing up.
Next, you fold the 4 corners of the aluminum foil around the piece of meat, leaving only the skin exposed, and then spread a thick layer of salt about 1cm deep over the skin.
Then, you put the meat into the air fryer, setting the temperature to 150 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.
Wait until the fryer makes a “TING TING” sound, then take the piece of meat out. If the layer of salt on the surface is dry and hardened, the skin is completely dry, hard, and slightly yellow, it is done.
After that, you brush off the layer of salt from the skin, then place the meat on another piece of aluminum foil and wrap it similarly as before, continuing to put the meat back into the air fryer at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes. When you take the piece of meat out and see the skin puffed up, golden, and crispy, it is complete.
Note: When brushing off the salt from the skin, you should use a knife to score the skin in a diamond pattern to ensure the skin puffs up evenly. -
Final product
The crispy roasted pork skin after completion will have a fragrant, golden layer, crunchy and appealing, combined with the tender and delicious pork belly.
