How to process Chinese Mugwort Dessert

  • Extract mugwort juice

    Gradually add small amounts of mugwort leaves into the juicer along with a little water.

    Do this step by step until you obtain mugwort juice.

    Add the tapioca flour and rice flour into the mugwort juice and stir well.

    Then add the remaining half of the flour mixture into the steaming tray and continue steaming.

  • Cut the mugwort flour into strands

    After steaming the flour, let it cool completely, waiting about 3 – 4 hours or longer.

    Proceed to take the flour out of the steaming tray, making sure to rub tapioca flour on your hands, the surface of the mugwort flour, and other utensils to prevent sticking.

  • Boil the mugwort flour strands

    Blanch the mugwort flour strands briefly in boiling water until they turn translucent, then scoop them out into a bowl.

    Add pandan leaves to a pot of water and boil to extract the fragrance.
