How to Choose Fresh and Delicious Minced Pork

  • To make delicious minced meat porridge, you should buy meat with a high lean ratio such as thigh meat, shoulder meat,… then chop it finely at home or you can use a machine to mince it.
  • You should choose meat that is pink in color, tender, with fat that is opaque white. When buying, gently press the piece of meat; if you feel the elasticity and smell the characteristic scent, then it is fresh meat.
  • Avoid buying meat that is dark red or purple, pale green, blackened, or has red skin as this may indicate the pork has been stored for too long or has been treated with chemicals.

How to Choose Fresh and Delicious Potatoes

  • You should choose potatoes with smooth skins; these will be sweet and nutritious when eaten.
  • Fresh and delicious potatoes will feel firm in hand, the tuber is hard, not soft due to wilting or being stored for too long.
  • Do not buy potatoes that have sprouted or whose skins have turned green as these can be very harmful to health.
