  • Prepare vegetables

    Ginger and green onions should be finely chopped and set aside. Peel the carrots, wash them clean, and cut them into small dice.

    Soak the snow mushrooms in diluted salt water for about 15 – 20 minutes, then rinse them gently. Remove and let them drain, then use a knife to slice them thinly, then cut them into smaller pieces to make it easier for the child to eat.

  • Preparation of oysters

    Fresh oysters bought should be gently washed with diluted salt water to remove all impurities mixed in with the oyster meat. Rinse with clean water 1 – 2 times and let drain.

    Place a stove and a pot of water, bring to a boil, then add the oysters and blanch for 3 seconds, then quickly use a strainer to remove all the oysters from the pot.

    Cut the oysters into small pieces to make it easier for the baby to eat, you can cut them into 3 parts.

  • Cook porridge

    Use the pot of water that was used to boil the oysters to cook the porridge, add all the cleaned rice into the pot, cover and cook over medium-high heat.

    When the porridge grains expand evenly, add all the carrots and ginger into the pot, stir well and continue to cook for about 3 minutes over medium-low heat.

    Add all the chopped snow fungus, and cook for another 2 – 3 minutes. Separate the egg yolks, beat them and add to the pot, along with the oyster meat and chopped green onions, mix well.

    Continue to cook for about 2 minutes, until all the ingredients are soft, then you can turn off the heat.

    • To avoid burning the porridge at the bottom of the pot, while cooking, use a ladle to stir frequently.

  • Prepare the vegetables

    Red apples should be rinsed with water, peeled, and then cut to obtain the apple flesh, removing the core inside.

    The corn should be peeled, and all the corn silk should be removed. Spinach should be washed clean and drained, then chopped finely with a knife.

    Place a pan on the stove, add 40g of white rice and 10g of sticky rice, stirring continuously over medium heat until the rice turns light yellow, then turn off the heat.

    Note: Rice can easily burn when toasted, so it needs to be stirred continuously and quickly to easily control the color of the rice grains.

    Use the vegetable broth pot prepared earlier to cook the porridge. When the water boils, add all the rice that was just roasted into the pot and boil on high heat. When the porridge pot starts to boil vigorously, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes until the grains of rice expand evenly.

    Add diced carrots and cabbage into the pot, mix well and cook for an additional 5 – 7 minutes until the ingredients are cooked.
