Prepare the cherries
First, wash the cherries thoroughly with water, then remove the stems and pits, and let them drain.
Tip: To save time during preparation, you can use chopsticks to pierce the cherry from the top to remove the pit! -
Marinate the cherry
Then, put 600gr of prepared cherry and 400gr of sugar into a bowl, mix everything together and let it marinate for 15 – 20 minutes.

Cook the cherry
Next, place a pan on the stove with the marinated cherry mixture over medium heat, stirring regularly for about 7 – 10 minutes.
Then, once the mixture starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook for 30 – 40 minutes until you see the cherries have softened. Season to taste, turn off the heat, and transfer to a food container!
Tip:- Depending on your preference, you can add a bit of lemon juice to make the jam more delicious.
- To prevent the cherry jam from burning, be sure to stir gently every 10 minutes while cooking.
