What is fern? How to choose and buy fern
- Fern (Thai Quyet) is a type of vegetable characteristic of mountainous regions. Typically, ferns thrive in rocky niches or valleys. Moreover, fern is not only a delicious dish but also has medicinal properties!
- Fresh and tasty fern has a bright green color and does not turn yellow. Additionally, the tips have a slightly curled shape.
- Furthermore, when you touch it with your hand, the fern feels crispy, not overly soft or with many unusual signs of insect damage.
- You should avoid buying ferns that are overly bruised, wilting, and emitting a strong foul smell, as these may be ferns that have been excessively treated with chemicals and not grown naturally.
