How to choose fresh, firm frogs
- You should choose to buy wild frogs instead of farmed frogs. Because the meat of farmed frogs is often watery, soft, and bland.
- Good quality frogs are those that are large, fat, have a slender head, bright eyes, strong limbs, with bright yellow or black spots, and a white or slightly yellow belly.
- Avoid choosing frogs that feel non-elastic when pressed, with mushy meat, and inflexible joints, as they may be sick.
