Melon pudding powder 200 gr Sugar 200 gr Filtered water 2 liters

Where to buy melon pudding powder?

  • Melon pudding powder can be easily found at stores selling mixing ingredients or baking supply stores. Additionally, for more convenience, you can also order online from some reputable e-commerce sites.
  • The price for a bag of melon pudding powder ranges from 40,000 VND/bag 100gr to 200,000 VND/bag 1kg (price updated on 25/10/2021).

How to make Melon Pudding

  • Mix the pudding mixture

    Add 200gr of sugar to 200gr of melon pudding powder and use a spoon to mix well to prevent clumping during cooking.

  • Cooking pudding jelly

    First, pour 2 liters of water into a pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Once the water has boiled, turn off the heat. Next, use a whisk to stir the water in the pot to dissipate some heat.

    Then, gradually add the pudding mixture into the pot of water while continuously whisking to ensure the powder blends well with the water.

    After that, turn the heat back on, cooking the mixture for 5 minutes over high heat until it boils again. During cooking, don’t forget to gently whisk with a whisk to prevent the mixture from clumping!

    Next, when the mixture comes to a boil again, reduce the heat to medium and use a ladle to skim off any foam to ensure the pudding will be smooth when finished. Finally, just cook for another 5 minutes and then turn off the heat.

  • Pudding molding

    Slowly pour the pudding mixture into the mold. Use a ladle to skim off any foam one more time to ensure the pudding is really smooth, then place it in the cool compartment of the refrigerator for 2 hours to let the pudding set.

    Melon pudding has a distinctive green color that is very eye-catching. When tasting, you will immediately feel the coolness and smoothness with the fragrant aroma of melon along with a light sweetness from sugar, a flavor that is very easy to eat and delicious.
