How to Choose Fresh and Delicious Duck

To choose good live ducks, first select a healthy one, with its wings pressed close to its body, smooth feathers, and alert eyes. If the duck’s wings are drooping, feathers are ruffled, and its crop is hard due to food, it is sick and should not be purchased. Specifically, you should choose male ducks, as they are meatier and denser compared to female ducks.

Ingredients Needed

  • Soy sauce
  • Cooking oil, salt, monosodium glutamate
  • Lemon, garlic, chili
  • Starch
  • Water

First, dissolve the starch in water, then peel the garlic and onion, wash them thoroughly and crush them. Next, squeeze the lemon to get the juice and filter out the seeds. Add the filtered water, sugar, blended soy sauce, salt, and monosodium glutamate into a bowl and stir well.

Then, heat the cooking oil in a pan, and add the sautéed onions and garlic until fragrant. Proceed to add the sauce mixture from the first step into the pan, and boil for about 3 minutes.
